Our vision is to positively impact the lives of Montgomery’s youth and young adults, ages 8-24, in order to aid in presenting a brighter future for our youth, our poverty stricken communities, and society as a whole. Our mission is to create and support one-to-one and/or group/peer mentoring and bonding while encouraging youth to express themselves through artistic processes. Our youth faces struggles daily and voices often go unheard. Those struggles are left unattended causing a negative impact on them as they enter into adulthood. At ExpressU we’re passionate about our youth/young adults
and the foundation of their future. ExpressU provides a safe haven where their voices can be heard, clearly, and their struggles are addressed with care, caution, and consideration. This is also a place where our young adults are able to explore unique activities that may potentially lead to new hobbys or careers. This is also an excellent way for them to be able to cope issues that might arise as they trasnition into adulthood. Through education and career services; mentorships; and enrichment in arts, tech, business, and other areas, ExpressU not only aid in creating brighter futures, but also creating healthy foundations & bonds for life.
